FROM BROKENNESS TO REDEMPTION
Table of contents 1. The lonely child 2. The outcast 3. The fall 4. The rise 5. The power of redemption Chapter 1. Lila was born into a Christian home with parents who loved the Lord. Her parents, John and Rachel, were devout Christians and raised their daughter with the same beliefs. From a young age, Lila was taught to pray and read the Bible. Her parents took her to church every Sunday and made sure she was involved in church activities. However, as Lila grew older, her parents became increasingly busy with their careers and other obligations. They no longer had as much time to spend with their daughter, leaving her feeling lonely and neglected. Lila tried to occupy herself with books and toys, but it was not the same as spending time with her parents. Lila's loneliness led her to start asking questions about God and her faith. She wondered why her parents didn't seem to have time for her or for God. She struggled to understand how her parents could be so busy with their own lives while claiming to love God and follow His ways. As Lila grew older, her loneliness turned into resentment towards her parents and their faith. She started to question everything she had been taught and became more distant from her parents and the church. Lila began to rebel and sought comfort in other things - friends, parties, and eventually drugs. John and Rachel were oblivious to their daughter's struggles. They were too caught up in their own lives to notice that their daughter was drifting away from them and from God. Little did they know, Lila's rebellion was just the beginning of a long and difficult journey that would ultimately lead her back to God and to her family. But for now, Lila was alone, lost, and searching for answers in all the wrong places.
