The purpose of the study was to investigate peer pressure/ group factors that influence career choice among secondary school students, investigate family factors that influence career choice among secondary school students and also investigate the school factors that influence career choice among secondary school students in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design and was guided by three research questions. The population of the study was 1,792 secondary school students in Awka South Local Government Area. The sample size was 362 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique. Consequently, the instrument used for the study was a structured questionnaire of 4 points Likert scale with a mean rating of 2.50 and above as an acceptable value while a mean below 2.50 was rejected. The reliability of the instrument was determined by the Cronbach Alpha method which yielded scores of 0.91,0.77and 0.82 for clusters B1,B2,and B3 respectively. The findings showed that family significantly influences the career choices of secondary school students through factors like parents' occupation and education, family values, and financial resources, while peers exert influence by pressuring them to conform, and schools play a vital role in shaping students' choices. It was recommended that schools should provide educational resources and also invite speakers to educate students on the available careers. It was suggested that a study should also be conducted on the effects of making poor career choices among Anambra State undergraduate students.
